Baby Formula Hack Using Evaporated Milk! MUST SEE! Happy Baby!
Welcome to my blog those from Youtube. After being posted on their site for over 2 years, they have decided to removed my baby formula recipe video due to their “harmful and dangerous policy”. I believe the removal was due to the questions and concerns I received in my comments sections, therefore a disclaimer has been added to address any “concern”. Below is the original recipe with the traditional sterilization process shared by my grandmother, as well as my original video. In the original video, I shared a way to make the formula in a large batch and then depot it into a large pitcher for storage. Going forward, I have decided to personally adapt this method as it allows more customization of bottle feeding size and requires a smaller quantity of bottles. Also, I’ve transitioned over to storing my formula in a heat-resistant glass pitcher you can purchased on Amazon.
Things to remember:
- Cans of Carnation are readily available at your local grocery store in 12 oz., therefore it will have to be diluted with 24 oz. of purified water (1:2 ratio of evaporated milk to purified water).
- Due to the above adjustment, 2.75 tablespoons (41.25 ml) of Karo syrup should be added.
- Always use clean bottles and wash your hand thoroughly before preparing.
- Please supplement with a daily infant multivitamin and begin solid foods as scheduled.
- Let your peditrician know of your decision to use this recipe.
